Why am I passionate about the Common SENSE Diet
Having worked as a nutritional advisor and a sport and exercise scientist for many years, I found
that the traditional 'one size fits all' approaches to nutition did not work consistently.
Whether I was working with people who were ill, who just wanted to lose weight, or were elite
athletes, I continually found that any one diet only worked for some of my clients. So, I began to
research the reasons why. I discovered a great deal of research relating to 'bio-chemical
individuality' and the differences in 'metabolic types'. It sounds very technical but
the principle is simple - everyone is different and therefore needs an individual diet.
After a great deal more research and intensive training, I used these
principles to great effect as a practitioner.
Finally I had found a method that helped everyone get excellent results!
It is great when you know that you have an exciting method that really works. The next
question was, "how could we make this available to everyone?". Practitioner work is
restricted by geography, cost and time. We needed a program that anyone could use. It
needed to be affordable, easy to use and something that could be done at home, without
the need for face to face support. The result is The Common SENSE Diet and the fantastic
team of people who support it.
